M-0117 Messenger Bag in Australian AUSCAM camouflage
This Messenger Bag is modern Australian military themed with being made mainly from the known salvaged heavy OD canvas from the German Army with the other parts being 1000 Denier Cordura in the Australian AUSCAM pattern, officially "Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform DCPU" (see last photo).
The 2 in wide adjustable carrying sling was a heavy tie-down strap salvaged from a manufacturer's stock fitted with steel hardware and Velcro. On the rear of the bag there's an exterior pocked closed with Velcro and intended for quick access for stuff like documents or a magazine to read. On the front exterior there is a small pocket / pencil holder and inside there are a large zippered pocket as well as a divider with another pocket and a strap with a hook for a key ring. The Bag itself is lined in plain Olive green canvas with closure being done via NOS OD straps and MILSPEC side-release buckles.
Added on the flap is an Australian flag patch.
This plain and slick Messenger Bag let's you wear a piece of relatively modern surplus military that although still turning up occasionally eventually will diminish with the Australian Army widely adopting a new pattern already.
Like most bags this of course also comes with a sample sheet detailing the materials used.
Size: 16 in x 12 in x 4 in
