M-0126 Messenger Bag in Olive Drab canvas and camouflage scraps
This Messenger Bag is made from the Taktonik "trademark" material, the heavy Olive Drab canvas salvaged from German Army tents. This time I combined it with a rather special pattern: All of them! I collected the scraps from making my camouflage face masks and arranged them to a collage resulting in a "camouflagy" pattern that's quite cool on its own.
The 2,3 in wide adjustable carrying sling is a heavy canvas strap salvaged from an out-of-business manufacturer's stock fitted with steel hardware. On the rear of the bag there's an exterior pocked closed with pressure buttons and intended for quick access for stuff like documents or a magazine to read. On the front exterior there is a small pocket / pencil holder and inside there are a large zippered pocket as well as a divider with another pocket and a strap with a hook for a key ring. The Bag itself is lined in plain light olive green canvas. Closure is via vintage tie-down straps. As an extra there is a USAF 23rd Fighter Squadron patch sewn onto the flap.
Like most bags this of course also comes with a sample sheet detailing the materials used.
Size: 16 in x 12 in x 4 in
