M-0167 Messenger Bag "Willi Saenger" in Rain Camo

This Messenger Bag takes inspiration from Airborne Forces again - only this time those from behind the Iron Curtain of the Cold War - namely East German Fallschirmjaegers! Prominently sporting the iconic Rain camouflage pattern, it is holding a multitude of vintage accessories.

Meticulously constructed, the main body of the bag is made up of said rain camouflage in a special rubberized version, cut directly from a NOS roll taken from a defunct manufacturer.

The front flap features stripes in bright red felt, as well as a piece of grey fabric with white piping. The latter was salvaged from a vintage NVA dress uniform. Also, there is an authentic collar piece for Fallschirmjaegers in the distinctive orange felt.

The 2 in wide adjustable carrying sling as you can see was made from GDR field-duty belts and it can be opened completely. I suggest you adjust it to your favourite size and bent the buckle's lock a bit to prevent accidentally opening it. On the rear of the bag there is an exterior pocked closed with snap buttons and intended for quick access to stuff like documents or a magazine to read. On the front exterior there is a small pocket / pencil holder. Inside there are a large, zippered pocket as well as a divider with another pocket and a strap with a hook for a key ring. The Bag is lined with another East German Army classic - a "Farewell-Handkerchief" as it was issued to all soldiers after completion of their service. The whole bag also has been reinforced with truck tarp all around. Closure is via original NVA straps with their metal buckles.

This Messenger Bag lets you wear another classic pattern and sporting authentic pieces from the other side of the "Wall" so to speak.
