MK-0027 MK10 Document Pouch / iPad pouch made from German Aircrew Immersion Suit - Westpac '97 Patch
This family of Document pouches is roughly A4+ sized with a diagonal water repellent zipper on the front modeled after the MK10 family of Aircrew survival suits and an additional opening closed with a Velcro flap on the top rear. You can slide papers and things like a clip-board in there as well as a slim notebook or your iPad Pro. You can of course also use the front zipper for small tools, writing utensils, etc.
On the outside there's a small pocket for pens as well as four leashes and a key-ring to secure the pouch.
The original "MK10" model of Document Pouches is made from salvaged German Air Force and Naval Aviation MK10 Aircrew Immersion Suits. Based on a British model this suit made from Ventile material was manufactured at the then Balloon Factory Augsburg in the late 1980's. Intended to be worn by aircraft crews when flying over bodies of water for extended periods they are made from the extremely expensive Ventile material which is both highly water resistant and breathable.
The inside is lined in a contrasting orange.
As original suits are salvaged by me each and every pouch will be slightly different then the next as each is made utilizing different parts of the suits.
This version comes unpadded and with a "Westpac '97" Navy Cruise Patch.
Size: approx. 11 x 8,5 in (US Letter)
An optional carrying-sling can be ordered for 10€. Please notify me if you want one when ordering.
